Prototypes for a Land-Based Creative Commune explores regenerative design strategies for a community built around art, healing, and land stewardship on an 830-acre site in upstate New York. The research focuses on prototyping a network of structures including a creative workshop facility, holistic healing center, and bathhouse, and cabins—each designed as experiments in local material systems. This investigation examines how bio-regional resources like sustainably harvested timber can shape architectural design and inform place-based models for collective living.
