830 acres in the New York Catskills, preserved for wildlife and fishing since the early 1800s. A 60-acre lake runs 1.8 miles through its center. The brief: a regenerative community development for creative practice. We led a participatory design process through stakeholder workshops to establish the vision and program requirements, then translated that narrative into site planning for dwellings, bathhouse and healing center, organic farm, artist studios, residency program, and creative workspaces. The land, on ancestral Lenape territory, sets the terms.
