Located in Millbrook, New York, the addition to an existing cottage is separated by a vertical volume enclosing a staircase and skylight. The envelope of the new living space, for a collector of photography, is articulated by openings corresponding to views of the surrounding landscape and the horizon of the Catskills beyond.
